Job Description
To assist the Finance Manager and Finance Executives in the Group’s financial accounting management with a particular focus in receivables and payables. The Intern will be working closely with hands-on experience with the VP, Finance and Finance Manager(s) and will be able to understand the financial flow of an e-commerce Group.
- Perform monthly product costing and subsequently inter-company billing
- Accounts receivables which includes issuance of invoices and credit notes, payment matching and debtor reconciliations
- Accounts payables which includes reconciliation to creditors statements
- Will be using Netsuite (accounting system)
- Ad-hoc assistance such as preparation of financial reports/data, and documents filing whenever necessary
Job Requirements
- Students of accounting and/or finance or financial management or ACCA/MICPA/ICAEW
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles which includes MFRS and practices of accounting records (Trial Balance, General Ledger, Income Statement, Balance Sheet)
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
- Able to prepare and maintain records
- Should have good written and oral communication skills
