Job Description
Join us in this role where you’ll work with network and security solutions while developing even further after your graduation. You’ll work in our international IT department, have a mentor and be part of the Young IT Professionals Programme. Duringthe programme, you’ll have the opportunity to specialise within network and security operations.
The Young IT Professionals Programme
We want to create a strong pipeline of talented and ambitious young employees and ensure a more diverse IT talent pipeline for the future. The Young IT Professionals Programme is an 18-month programme with two rotations and an individual development plan tailored to you. When the programme ends, you’ll be offered a permanent position in our IT organisation.
You’ll start in Network & Security Operationswhere you and your colleagues will provide support on network securityactivities. Here, you’ll be able to develop your career with various technologies related to network data centres. This will further enhance your knowledge in network security and cyber security to become a network and security administrator. You’ll also have exposure to back office operations, value delivery teams with custom applications or enterprise application management. You’ll join a team with a diverse, comfortable and safe working culture.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting the department with activities related to network security
- our journey to support the agile organisation, working in Shared Service teams based on SAFe principles
- investigating and resolving basic network issues, inefficiencies and performance issues based on our network monitoring and Service Desk ticket system
- being on top of all the network related alarms and engage with senior consultants
- being involve in network related reporting and documentation.
Job Requirements
Your competencies include that you:
- have an IT bachelor’s degree or higher
- have an understanding of basic network terminologies such as LAN, WAN and Wireless
- have had exposure to basic network administration, network switches, routers and Windows OS
- have general troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge
- speak and write English fluently.
