Job Description

• Responsible for planning, execution and supervision on day to day operations of  the entire building's electrical installation and monitoring on LV/HT facility equipment performance. 
• Able to liaise with authorities and government body e.g. DOE, TNB, DOSH & etc.
• To conduct and carry out preventive maintenance & breakdown work accordance to schedule plan and perform regular checks on the M&E systems & facilities of the building.
• To perform all maintenance related work instructed by superior include electrical and any maintenance work of the building.
• Lead a team of technician to maintain the building, housekeeping, overall building facilities and its surrounding premises.
• Arrange and co-ordinate maintenance, inspection and calibration for all electrical items
• Maintain engineering store area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access.
• To ensure electrical installations compliance with all relevant government authorities and Electrical Supply Act and Electricity Regulation.
• To conduct regular check and test run off load and on load on standby generator set as per schedule.
• Perform renewal/registration of electrical equipment certificate/license such as back up generator set license with authorities.
• Monitor and assist vendor / contractor to ensure work is completed as per specification and ensure safety regulation are complied while carrying their  duties.
• Assist Building Executive / Manager in planning of cyclical maintenance works,Building electrical improvement work, annual power shut down and periodic electrical inspection.
• To undertake any other duties assignment by Building Executive / Building Manager.

Job Requirements

• Must possess Professional Certificate in Electrical – BO and registered with ST 
• Knowledge in Electrical Supply Act, Electricity Regulation. 
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Able to handling high voltan system (generator set with synchonising panel)
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations & legislation
• Proven supervisory and technical skills
• Hands-on experiences managing major and regular electrical shut down work
• Willing to work irregular hours, call back on normal, public holidays and on weekend
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure and must be  
• Good in work attitude
