Job Requirements
- Passion in building a highly-effective development team.
- Experience in managing a development team. We are a fairly small team with an easy-going culture. As we practice flexible working hours and remote work, we make extensive use of online planning and collaboration tools to complement face-to-face meetings.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies. We loosely follow agile; candidates trained in this or have prior experience as a scrum master are at an added advantage.
- Knowledge of modern software practices and tools. For example: issue trackers, version control, automated testing, devops, cloud computing architectures, site reliability engineering, etc.
- Experience in writing code, although this is not a day-to-day coding role. We use multiple languages such as Java, Python, PHP, Puppet, Go, etc on Linux systems. Prior experience in building worldwide production systems is an added advantage.
