Job Description
We are expanding our dynamic Engineering team and we are on the lookout for our next Software Engineering Manager.
About the Role
You will be leading our Engineering team and your job scope will include:
- Build a data-driven SPA with the ability to manipulate complex filters and generate plots in real-time.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing Web applications.
- Iterate the UI/UX of the dashboard.
- Build intuitive and interactive visualisation charts.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Implement high-quality code in an agile, test-driven development environment.
- Perform performance and scalability analysis.
- Create detailed software development plans and directing the team to completion.
- Scope development efforts providing reliable resource and timeline estimates.
- Set standards for product/process quality and monitor the team’s output.
- Recruit, mentor and coach software engineer team.
- Be responsible for the performance management of the engineering team.

You are objective, never political and always be mindful about creating a high-value culture by inspiring the people that you are working with.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4+ years experience shipping production code in Python and Javascript
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role
- Good project management skill
- Advanced knowledge in these technologies: React, Node.js
- Experience in GraphQL, D3.js and Docker is added bonus.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
