About The Job

You will be a part of our Business Intelligence team and your responsibilities include:

  • Collate, organise and analyse large datasets using relevant analytic tools, including Omnilytics dashboard, to produce valuable insights.
  • Complement internal data findings with external information from market research reports, statistics, infographics, online search engines, and etc.
  • Translate insights into strategic approaches to seize business opportunities or to combat challenges.
  • Visualise and present data as well as insights in an organized and comprehensible manner to the professional audience and internal teams.
  • Close monitoring of fashion and beauty trends locally and globally, to report data-backed insights.
  • Support the product and development teams to cleanse, standardise and quality-assure results of large datasets, as well as to improve data interpretation.

Job Requirements

You'll be a good fit for this role if you possess the following traits:

  • Strong analytical skills, you demonstrate the use of critical thinking and logical reasoning to identify patterns, trends and things of note from data to draw meaningful conclusions, as well as to solve both complex and simple problems.
  • As an effective communicator, you convey insights in a clear, concise and credible manner verbally and in writing.
  • Being creative with data, you are able to see the less obvious patterns and think “out of the box” to deliver new insights to help understand or solve business issues.
  • Being curious, you constantly seek the meaning behind the numbers and have an insatiable drive to discover actionable insights and solutions.
  • Being proactive and independent, you take the initiative to seek clarification or collaboration whenever needed. You also take ownership of tasks and do not require constant supervision to complete those tasks.


Requirements
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience in the related fields of research or business intelligence. Research analysts from market research companies or merchandisers/buyers based in retail head-office looking for a switch in career are welcomed to apply.
  • Passion for fashion, beauty, and retail/e-commerce.
  • Excellent command of written English.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge of Python / R / SPSS is a bonus but not compulsory.
