Job Description

• Oversee Finance Operations, compliance matters and statutory accounting
• Be responsible for Malaysian taxation matters (personnel contributions, SST, WHT)
• Own treasury function and cash management activities
• Drive controlling activities including, management accounting & reporting, planning and variance analysis on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Represent the “go to person” for business stakeholders when Finance advisory is needed
• Support top management performing ad hoc-duties or projects
• Liaise with external accounting team, auditors, tax agent and company secretary when appropriate

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, Master’s degree is preferred
• No less than 5 years experience of which 2 spent in the Finance function of a company belonging to an innovative industry (digital services or e-commerce preferred).
• Experience managing small teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of various stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a startup environment, getting hands dirty and dealing with uncertainty.
• Proficient in ERPs, G Suite and Microsoft Excel.
