About the Role

Omnilytics is looking for a Content Editor to join our dynamic Marketing team. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and be able to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan.

As the Content Editor, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Develop editorial governance so content is consistent with the company brand, voice, style and tone;
  • Plan and execute content strategies with the goal of driving traffic, education and lead generation in mind.
  • Brainstorm with Marketing and Business Intelligence team to develop content in various formats (articles, videos, infographics, etc.);
  • Collaborate with the design, sales, tech teams to ensure consistent messaging across all touch points.
  • Proofread and edit materials for content to ensure accuracy, currency, relevance, conformance, and accessibility; 
  • Recruit, mentor and coach team of copywriters and assist in copywriting as required; 
  • Coordinate the publishing cycle and calendar and ensure that deadlines are met for publication or broadcast; and
  • Oversee the tracking of all content for progress and always strive to find new ways to improve.

Job Requirements

You'll be a good fit for this role if you possess the following traits:
  • Keen Eye for Details. You always delve into things and put the reader’s point of view first. Look at minute details as you know it is the small things that matter. Your keen sense of observation will prevent small things from blowing up and turning into big issues.
  • Thrive in a Fast-paced Environment. You have no problem in managing multiple projects and resources concurrently with high attention to detail while adapting to changes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills. As an effective communicator, you convey insights in a clear, concise and credible manner verbally and in writing.
  • Creative and Innovative. You are the kind of person who always thinks out-of-the-box. This means that problems and challenges are not an issue for you, as you have an innate ability to resolve them creatively.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of work experience in creating content for the web, digital and editorial channels with 2 years of mentoring and managing team of copy writers.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills demonstrated through work across a variety of projects and teams.
  • Well-versed in SEO, digital, PR and social media best practices; have hand on experience with content tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Wordpress and HubSpot.
  • Experience in content editing or writing in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Interest in fashion, and e-commerce or business analytics is a plus.
