Job Description
Our company is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to perform the accounting function of the company including but not limited to doing a full set of accounts and day to day general administrative tasks.
You have the ability to multi-tasking, meticulous eye for detail, work independently and experience in handle multiple companies’ accounts. Preliminary job description as described below:
A Senior Account Executive must be reliable and highly organized. They should possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and work equally well independently and in teams. In addition to these traits, employers look for applicants with the following skill set.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist with overall accounting functions for the Group of companies.
- Responsible for the full spectrum of finance including timely preparation of financial and management reports as well as analysis of results within the time frame.
- Handle full set account including the preparation of budgeted profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statement within stipulated time frame.
- Control and manages end to end financial processes in support of the account which includes collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ensure timely submission of accounting and management reports in compliance with local statutory & regulatory requirements, tax authorities, accounting standards and relevant law & acts.
- Lead, mentor, manage and develop a team of accounting personnel.
- Ensure the daily operation in the department is running smoothly.
- Regular review customer balance and ensure debts are paid in a timely manner.
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct other general accounting duties, as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Holding a professional accounting certificate (ACCA & etc) will be an added advantage
- Prefer Senior Executive who experienced in F&B Industry.
- Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Required Skill(s): Full Set Account, Budgeting, SQL
- Candidate fluent in Mandarin is preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.
- Knowledge on consolidation accounting is an advantage.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Candidate with short notice is preferred.
- 2 Full -Time position available (1 Junior and 1 Senior)
