Job Description

At Nuline Products we love babies! We are the exclusive distributor for premium international baby products such as MAM Baby or Biconi and we are currently aggressively increasing our brand portfolio in Southeast Asia. Our small, but powerful team of highly motivated people has an international background and a true ‘can-do’ attitude. 

To strengthen our commercial leadership team, we are looking for an ambitious and energetic Head of Sales to join us. This will be a new role in Nuline Products and you will report directly to the General Manager with close working relationship with our Marketing, Business Development and Operations teams.

In this role you will build a state-of-the-art sales organization and develop and execute our brands’ sales strategies. You will also establish and maintain close working relationships with our most important customers while leading your team in a competitive yet collaborative manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop sales strategies for our brands, define targets and translate them into concrete action plans
  • Assess opportunities to expand our sales, access new markets and channels for our products and develop new customers
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts

Sales Organization and Processes
  • Build a state-of-the-art sales team
  • Coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess current sales processes and procedures; identify improvement opportunities and implement them

Key Account Management
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key account clients to accomplish organic growth
  • Develop and integrate new clients
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that key clients’ needs are met
  • Resolve customers' complaints in an effective and respectful way
  • Negotiate contracts with key clients 

Performance Management
  • Measure, track and analyze sales metrics; create sales reports to management
  • Keep up-to-date with industry and market trends and best practices
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals and adjust goals as needed
  • Oversee the activities and individual performance of the sales team



Job Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is experienced in the Mother & Baby industry and possesses a strong existing network in this area
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Sales and a minimum of 5 years in a Sales Manager / Head of Sales role
  • Strong management skills to ensure the company’s short- and long-term objectives are met
  • Strong sales & marketing skills with the ability to develop a high performing sales organization
  • High interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact and build relationships with people at different hierarchical levels
  • Team player with the ability to work independently 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Fluent in English, Chinese, Malay
