Job Description

• Responsible for the new and existing product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product positioning.
• To develop both short- and long-term product pipeline plan after considering stakeholders’ feedback, market trends, and consumer insights. 
• Collaborate with both internal & stakeholders in defining our product and technology roadmaps to formulate and execute plans to fill any gaps that may exist.

• Conduct consumer / market research by maintaining understanding of market landscape, customer requirements and mapping of competitor’s activities.
• Responsible for analysing market trend and data using internal and external secondary research and hands on primary research to provide perspective to influence portfolio of products.
• Identifying product gap and business opportunities against competitor’s product range line-up.

• Manage all product lifecycle, monitor performance and make adjustments to overall product plans based on results and feedbacks.
• Responsible for pricing structure, cost analysis, setting business sales target and forecasting of sales.
• Consolidate sales, retail plan and functional plan for new initiatives.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting performance of product launches.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized institution of higher learning. 

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in product marketing. 
• Preferably with work experience in coatings or building materials industry.

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) applications.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.

• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.
• A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
• A good team player and communicator.
• Good written and spoken English. 
• Good presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels.
