Job Description

• You will be responsible to carry out Research & Development work on improving and enhancing competitive advantage of the Company;
• To increase productivity through new and optimized ways of designing, fabrication and assembly of components and improved processes;
• To carry out  and monitor instrumentation of full scale  protypes/mockups;
• To carry out  and monitor laboratory models and testing of components of existing systems/products and new systems/products;
• Innovate and develop new products/system with the view of commercialization;
• To carry out analysis and finite element modelling by using computer software; 
• To liaise with other research agencies or strategic partners to carry out R&D work;
• Any other works and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum master’s degree in structural engineering and/or material engineering.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in consulting engineering firm. 
3. Must be familiar with use of engineering software and finite element modelling.
4. Passionate about innovation, research and development of new products and systems.
5. Have a knack for thinking out of the box.
6. Person of integrity and able to keep confidential information.
