Job Description
This position is expected to distribute the financial resources of the company, is responsible for the budget planning, and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
This role is expected to have solid and strong corporate, financial and business acumen skill set. This role will be the front liner for any project / business negotiation related task alongside the senior management people.
Performs duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- High-level financial reporting and analysis, Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Text Developing financial strategy
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
- Developing strategies that work to financial risk.
- Cash flow management.
Job Requirements
An ideal candidate should: -
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Accounting / Finance or other related professional qualification;
- Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification of working experience in similar in-house position, with proven track record.
- Possess strong and effective analytical, management and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
