Job Description

• Forecasting profits and sales, and optimising the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas. Planning budgets, product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans together with the design and development team (DDT).
• Managing the distribution of stock, liaising with management, marketing, operations, stores, suppliers and franchisees. Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
• Liaison with Franchise partners and Singapore Operations on Merchandise and Markdowns.
• Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data, analysing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines whilst gathering information on customers' reactions to products within a short and set time frame. Using the brand’s inventory management system to handle sales statistics, monitoring slow sellers and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary. Maintaining awareness of competitors’ performance.
• Floor Merchandising - working closely with visual merchandising staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximise customer interest and sales. 

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, any field.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Merchandising, Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
