About The Job

  • Study briefs and understand the objectives to translate and design graphics that will shape the visual aspects of all sale and marketing touchpoints – to capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message across all integrated O2O platforms; marketing and sales collaterals, window displays, direct mail, email marketing, print and digital advertising banners, internal corporate programs and more
  • Collaborate with the content writer to create on-brand and engaging social media assets and ads across social platforms. This includes minor photography and video editing
  • Continuously collaborating with the digital team to create bespoke visuals that will help amplify the message and drive sales on our e-store and marketplace stores – aligned with the content strategy whilst maintaining a visual aesthetic that is consistent with the brand identity and design standards
  •  Articulate and pitch design concepts to team and Head of Department; getting involved in all phases of the project development from rough drafts to testing across various media and final delivery
  • Manage production workflow, budget, schedule and deadlines on campaigns and projects you are leading
  • Maintain image file library – file preparation from design drafts to final including but not limited to some colour correcting, retouching, resizing, reformatting etc
  • Assist Associate Art director with projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Proactive and have strong planning and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and have a creative competency with a good commercial understanding
  • Able to work in a team environment and be a team player while building cross-functional relationships
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage it within stringent deadlines
  • Flexible and able to learn from constructive feedback
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal). Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
  • Degree level or equivalent in graphic design/communications design. However, candidates who did not graduate from any of the mentioned courses but have a tracked working experience in graphic design at a reputable agency are welcome to apply
  • Minimum 2 years proven work experience in Graphic Design, Advertising, or In-house Creatives
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. 
  • Knowledge in After Effects, basic HTML, CSS and other coding languages is a plus
