Job Description


The Role



  • You will get the opportunity to take part in a complete sales marketing experience as you lead every facet of the project's journey. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, planning and execution of MoneyMatch's brand/ various products to support the sales growth of the retail segment portfolio. 
  • This will involve the development of sales, marketing, partnerships & branding strategies (online/ offline), implementation and subsequent analysis of the campaign results. 
  • This is a cross-functional role, involving working closely with our Marketing & Design team, as well as collaborating with our Corporate Sales, Engineering, Communication and Compliance teams. 
  • As this position is also an external facing function with external partners/ customers, the associate plays an equally instrumental role in raising the profile of MoneyMatch within the industry across multiple segments, channels and/or verticals as a fast-paced and ambitious multi-jurisdictional organisation with evolving business and/or product offerings.


The Deliverables


  • The growth associate will be primarily responsible for driving the revenue targets of MoneyMatch’s retail segment via various strategies, channels & coordination on-the-ground, which among others include but not limited to retail sales, relationship management, partnership acquisition & maintenance as well as any other means necessary to grow the Retail Segment’s revenue & profitability in a proactive manner. 
  • You will be working very closely with the management in creating the various Retail Sales protocols along with ideating together to create marketing strategies and partnership initiatives in our Retail growth hacking strategies.
  • Primary responsibilities include the management of the entire retail sales & marketing process flow whilst also working closely with both our internal Marketing & Design and outsourced marketing team (digital marketing, offline advertising and brand innovation consultants from external agencies) to ensure that our entire commercialization strategy is aligned and effectively run which includes offline, online and public relations efforts.
  • Secondary responsibilities include the preparation of management reports on a real-time basis and working with management and the in-house Communication & Engineering team on continuous efficiency improvement efforts which include UI/UX of App User Experience, emailer software system. 
  • Additionally, you will work in close consultation with Compliance to ensure internal governance & compliance requirements are observed, met and enforced accordingly. 


The above list is non-exhaustive and may include additional tasks as the Head of Business Development may deem necessary. As part of an agile and fast-scaling FinTech start-up, candidate is also expected to assist the management with any administrative and general requirements of MoneyMatch as and when required.

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject from a reputable university.
  • Preferably some relevant experience in brand/ product marketing & implementation of a B2C product or running events in pursuit of building a strong brand presence among the relevant target audience. Fresh graduates will be considered if exceptional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills particularly in English, with the ability to work with all levels of management and to communicate cross-function in a structured manner to influence outcome.
  • Good project management and organizational skills, with the ability to run, coordinate and track multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous (VUCA) environment, synonymous to an agile and fast scaling tech start-up without significant supervision and with attention to details.
  • Candidates must be innovative, confident, accountable & have a strong sense of self-initiative with an amazing can-do attitude (in a startup, you do anything and everything to help the company grow!)
  • The ability to travel for business (locally) if needed.
