About The Job

MoneyMatch is seeking for a talented and competitive Enterprise Solutions Sales Manager who is able to thrive in an industry-leading, fast-moving and aggressive FinTech start-up environment. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Business Development, based out of Bangsar and the successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition as well as revenue growth objectives within the domain of Banks and Financial Institutions.

The Role
i) The role requires basic technical integration knowledge and understanding such as Application Programming Interface (“API”), Graphical User Interface (“GUI” or “Web Dashboard”) and Secured File Transfer Protocol (“SFTP” or “Batch Upload”).
ii) The role also requires basic industry knowledge on legacy-based services, tariffs and pricing, ability to research and develop client solutions with internal stakeholders such as Project Management, Engineering, Operations and Compliance Teams.
iii) The role requires post-onboarding client liaison with internal Project Lead through iterations of solution, implementation and life-cycle management of the product developed to meet the clients’ evolving business needs.

The Deliverables
i) To be a cross-functional “Hunter-Farmer” focusing to drive and grow onboarding of new Enterprise solutions account(s).
ii) To develop, build and manage a clientele base of Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
iii) To customise MoneyMatch Enterprise Solutions products or services for clients that may require written proposals and demonstrations.
iv) To manage contractual negotiations and work with the internal Legal team as required.
v) To oversee and manage the entire client onboarding process at each stage from account acquisition to post-onboarding relationship management.
vi) To follow-through on new and/or existing key accounts within its’ horizontal sectors for new business opportunities.
vii) To plan for potential Enterprise sales MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) initiatives by collaborating with the internal Marketing team.
viii) To prospect for new international clients whether organic or referral via sales calls, direct mail, email and/or networking events.
ix) To follow-through on leads generated from research and/or promotional events organised by external collaborators.
x) To assist internal Compliance team in securing complete due-diligence documentations from the client.
xi) To maintain constant communication and meet client’s expectations on MoneyMatch product offerings.
xii) To generate and promote transactional volume growth from clients post-onboarding.
xiii) To participate in trade shows, conferences and/or community events to help promote MoneyMatch and its’ Enterprise solutions offerings.
xiv) To investigate and troubleshoot client service level issues by working with multiple internal key stakeholders.
xv) To develop trusted partner relationships with key clients to retain and grow revenues over time.
xvi) To keep abreast with changes and developments in the industry which includes gathering competitive information on products and services, sharing this information with the Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Management teams.
The above list is non-exhaustive and may include additional tasks as the Head of Business Development may deem necessary. As part of an agile and fast-scaling FinTech start-up, candidate is also expected to assist the management with any administrative and general requirements of MoneyMatch as and when required.

Job Requirements

Primary Requirements
i) The ideal candidate has at least five (5) years or more of enterprise solutions sales experience selling professional services and/or management software solutions to the C-suite level of a business whether in the regulated or non-regulated markets. High preference for corporate banking (such as transaction banking sales) and other relevant financial services related experiences.

ii) The candidate is primarily responsible to obtain successful buy-in(s) through strategic and commercial alliances with the Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions as well as to identify various opportunities to increase sales and profitability for MoneyMatch in the course of its’ business relationship(s).

iii) The candidate has responsibilities directly related to generating sales which, includes but not limited to on-site meetings; communicating with clients via phone, email and tele-conference call(s); providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues; advising clients on the suitability of MoneyMatch Enterprise Solutions suite of products based on clients’ technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, pricing and commercial contracts; and developing strategic plans related to the clients’ proposed solution.

ii) Demonstrates the ability to hunt for new enterprise clients with strong desire to WIN.
iii) Able to deploy people or relationship management skills as and when required.
iv) Good knowledge or experience of a start-up environment.
v) Ability to unlearn or learn evolving industry insights.
vi) Ability to work within the limitations of budget or human resource.
vii) Good knowledge of competitors’ products or service offerings.
viii) Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written).
ix) Strong drive to assist clients with creative solutions.
x) Strong listening and analytical skills required to determine client needs and requests.
xi) Strong presentation skills required, both in person and via tele/video conference call(s).
xii) Ability to make sound decisions with the information at hand, with the end goal of client satisfaction and positive revenue generation for MoneyMatch.
xiii) Well-organised and effective in delivery with attention to detail.
xiv) Consultative or solution-selling to C-level suite level an added advantage.
xv) Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
