Job Description

The Compliance Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes and compliance requirements are successfully conducted for the operations of MoneyMatch across all three products are complied with in an effective and efficient manner. The Associate will be working very closely with the Head of Compliance in creating the various compliance protocols along with working with the in-house programmers to automate and improve on the risk management measures. This dynamic role will also provide opportunities to the Associate to travel out on client visits and due diligence activities. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Primary responsibilities include the execution of the entire compliance process flow whilst working closely with the technology and operations team with the creation of compliance protocols to handle automated onboarding processes together with manual enhanced due diligence checks along with monitoring systems for fraud prevention. 

  • This includes a variety of activities such as anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and running reports such as suspicious transaction reporting from our own internal sources such as our due diligence checks and external sources such as politically exposed persons
 
Secondary Responsibilities: 
 
  • The Compliance division will also manage the due diligence checks internally and will be responsible for managing the transaction flow process smoothly. 

  • In addition to the primary duties as stated above, you will also be expected to work closely with our technology team in devising innovative and secure methods to automate the operational process as much as possible with intelligent monitoring

  • The Company adheres to continuous improvement principles and it is essential that you perform your role with the same principle

  • Throughout your employment, you will be given ad hoc work such as preparation of management reports on a real-time basis and working with the in-house programmers on continuous efficiency improvement efforts. with related administrative and general requirements of the business as and when required

Job Requirements

  1. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply or those with less than two years working experience 
  2. Candidates with good report writing skills and strong Microsoft Excel skills will be given priority 
  3. This role requires an analytical and detail oriented mindset 
  4. Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationship
  5. Ability to perform at a high level without significant supervision and with attention to detail
  6. Candidates must be Innovative, confident, accountable & have a strong sense of self-initiative
