MMT UNIVERSAL ACADEMY SDN BHD is a highly dynamic organization that is currently undergoing rebranding to provide better products and solutions to customers in Malaysia & South East Asia. 

The primary focus of the SALES CONSULTANT is to become a trusted training advisor for MMT UNIVERSAL ACADEMY SDN BHD customers. This dynamic individual is responsible for developing pipeline and selling our solutions to both existing and new MMT customers within a specific Klang Valley (KL/Selangor).

We offer an extensive portfolio of training offerings to assist customers along their training journey as part of human capital development.

As a SALES CONSULTANT  you will have experience of developing rapport over the telephone or by appointment with customers and an understanding of selling training solutions. You must be able to demonstrate the following:

 • Experience of selling corporate training / education product or services solutions over the telephone or in person
 • Understanding of the Malaysian training & development market and future trends
 • Successful track record of closing new business with integrity
 • Desire to achieve results.

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Provide training needs assessment (TNA) and consultation to potential clients to provide an affordable training solution to meet their needs for career skill goals.

· Gain a complete and ongoing understanding of the training products, programs, certifications, and classes available to the prospective clients/organization.

· Manage the prospect database through proper procedures regarding follow-up calls, prospect status, and account ownership.

· Actively contact prospects, both new and assigned, to build a pipeline of business opportunities. 

· Independently manage all aspects of each account including regular communication as needed.

· Detail-oriented, a good listener, and have good fact-finding skills to uncover and understand prospect’s learning needs at a granular level.

· Able to clearly promote and build the MMT brand and develop new prospects

Job Requirements

What you should bring
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of sales experience in training & development, technology or higher education,
  • Proven track record of sales success, meeting and/or exceeding sales goals a majority of years.
  • A passion to get the maximum satisfaction of your customers
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills in English
  • Have used products in product portfolio, or else similar products
  • Background in customer engagement and driving customer adoption
  • High-energy, positive attitude
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record are required (Motor vehicle check required).
