Job Description

1. Produce sample and mood board.
2. Follow up project work progress with Sales Department.
3. Work closely with Interior Designer teams, Sales Person, and customers (if necessary).
4. Research and follow industry changes, evolution and best practices.
5. Participating in meetings as and when required for specific projects are mandatory.
6. Fundamental of Interior Architecture and Design procedures: Concept > Sketch > Development > Final Outcome.
7. Provide space planning, conceptualization, materials and color scheme specification on client needs.
8. Enhances and improves interior spaces’ functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and decor.
9. Producing eye catching 3D perspectives for clients’ visual and understand.
10. Preparing relative technical drawings for clients/ authority submission.
11. Work within proposed deadline.
12. Undertake design project from concept to completion.
13. Define project requirements and schedule during briefing and translate customer needs.
14. Be responsible to assist Superior in any work task given or ad-hoc jobs.
15. Team alignment and work according to MKA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Requirements

• Degree (Bachelor of Art), Interior Architecture and Design/ Interior Designer.
• You are required to speak language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, and little Cantonese language would be great too.
• Fresh Graduates a most welcomed.
• Knowledge acquired: Fundamental of Interior Architecture and Design
• Software skills: AutoCAD (compulsory), Sketch Up, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
• Additional: in-house 3D program (to learn during probation)
• Participating in meetings as and when required for specific projects are mandatory.
