Job Description

Operations Analyst must be a detail-oriented thinker and doer who is able to take ownership of a range of responsibilities. Analytical skills and quick, flexible thinking in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment are essential. As one of the first team members to join BIMA’s Malaysia team, this person will play a critical role in the initial set-up and success of our new local operation.

Specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Test, implement and manage multiple marketing campaigns
  • Track responses, compile/update data and analyse results on a daily basis
  • Develop new marketing ideas or strategic campaign changes with insight from early tests
  • Manage proactive customer engagement and service over multiple channels
  • Support set up and internal operations of new Malaysia office and call centre, including coordination with partners and suppliers as required 

Job Requirements

The essentials for the job: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in business administration, statistics, math or other relevant major. 
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience as an analyst 
  • Comfortable with excel 
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion 
  • Communication skills to present findings 
  • Right Attitude- 
    • Resourceful problem solver with initiative to resolve issues and blockers 
    • Ability to work with autonomy and minimal supervision – we need self-starters with can do attitude 
  • Good command in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia 
Great to have: 
  • Familiarity with SQL will be a plus
