Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, compile and present information for use in the preparation and production of HDC’s and other trainings and research related works and programmes. 
  • Ensure that projects and programmes by HDC are executed according to action plans and within established dates; 
  • Ensure timely submission of financial and progress reports in accordance with donor agreements.
  • Engage in organisational efforts for operational planning, programming, budgeting and resource coordination and mobilisation to enable effective and efficient delivery of training and training modules.
  • Provide support to organisation’s staffs (cross-department) in programme planning and project management issues including the coordination of HDC’s work plan.
  • Assist in technical activities related to information and knowledge management (web sites, presentations, report and collaterals publication) in support of the work programme established by Head of HDC.
  • Work in close coordination and interaction with other departments within the organisation.
  • To act as the contact person for public, especially, students, scholars and researchers in regards to HDC role in MERCY Malaysia during office hours and develop a healthy and productive relationships.
  • Performing administrative work such as data entry, preparing reports, documentation and statistics, as well as overall administrative support functions.
  • Maintain proper books and assists in the annual budgeting and submission of accounts.
  • Support and/or handle (as the situation requires) the organisation’s knowledge and educational programmes, such as, Humanitarian Labs, International Humanitarian Conference, Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP). 
  • Assist in the monitoring of the organisation’s entry and ongoing involvement in areas of operation by contributing to discussions and decisions regarding the strategic direction of the projects/ programmes concerned.
  • Prepare relevant reports or proposal (within the scope of projects assigned) required by the Organisation within the specified deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
  • At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Be able to work independently and timely submission for all deadlines.
