Job Description

  • Identify & develop IoT sales opportunities by reaching the new and existing global enterprise customers in Industry 4.0 (IoT, Industry4) & identifying potential accounts
  • Work with The Team to develop and execute sales strategies; create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time; identify new opportunities to grow business, increase sales, and broaden brand and product recognition.
  • Consult clients on the benefits of IoT and how it will digitally transform their businesses, resulting in securing IoT business and partnership.
  • Presenting to C-Level stakeholders, and negotiating deals end-end with clients, achieving annual sales targets.
  • Lead technology specific business discussions with executives within client organizations
  • Maintain strong reporting and accountability against numbers, driving to exceed quotas, while developing and managing motivating incentive tools.
  • Work closely with the Alliances and Channels organization to assist in building out the IoT partners that support for both deliver and resell of IoT software solutions.
  • Collaborate globally with peers from other regions to share knowledge about use cases, implementations, competitive threats and other IoT-related topics in a forum like that of a “Center of Excellence"
  • Provide feedback from prospects, customers and partners to the global IoT Business Unit to help drive the global IoT strategy and investments.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identify sales opportunities.
  • Create and develop customer sales proposals, pricing quotes, and bid support.
  • Understand, interpret and provide technical information and explanations.
  • Maintain and improve quality of sales by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Continually update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplish department and organizational goals by accepting ownership of role. Explore additional opportunities for adding value to the position.
  • Meet Sales Goals, build Client Base

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.E.E. or B.S.C.E. ) from four-year college or university or five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years above on Sales and Business Development selling technology enabling solutions to system integrators, M2M service providers, and OEM companies of all sorts.
  • Proven 2+ years of with IOT sales.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and inspire others through verbal, written and presentations skills both in person and virtually.
  • Strong subject matter expertise in the IoT/IIoT platform field for manufacturing and smart device use cases.
  • Evangelize the IoT platform portfolio to all levels of potential customers and partners, including speaking at marketing and/or industry events.
  • Experience and comfortable leading in a matrix organization, achieving results through collaboration and influence rather than only through direct reporting line.
  • Accurately assess and forecast of IoT business unit, drive direct and indirect teams to develop pipeline and manage broad organizational teams to successfully deliver on IoT targets.
  • Telecommunication experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Programming, FAE Technical support, and Product Management is a plus.
  • Strong new business development, client relationship management, and sales forecasting experience.
  • Assertive team player, nimble and intelligent with the ability to identify and close business.
  • Great communication skills with superior listening skills.
  • Developed problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of the entire sales cycle including tracking/updating accounts, forecasting sales activity, and reporting weekly/monthly to management.
  • Proficiency in prospecting new accounts and closing orders.
  • Ability to speak multi languages is a plus, English is mandatory.
