Job Description

Assist the Project Manager and Congress Manager 
  • Deliver congress and conference events on time within budget and meet and exceed client’s expectations 
  • Effectively communicate, maintain and develop client relationships with a view to retaining existing business and developing new opportunities 
  • Travel on site inspections and attend and project-manage events as required
  • Be fully responsible for all project budgets from conception through to reconciliation

Speakers Handling 
  1. Assist the Manager with the communication, correspondence, follow-up, reminding of speakers and VIP’s invited by the congress. Update and manage lists of delegates, invited guests, speakers and VIP’s
  2. Prepare all files necessary for the registration. Prepare all necessary logistics for the onsite handling of registration

Sponsorship and Exhibition 
  1. Assist the Manager on invoicing, updating of lists and follow-up including reminders and relevant correspondence
  2. Prepare all technical information required for the onsite logistics

Job Requirements

  1. Great ease in any field (Degree and above)
  2. Personality: flexible, calm, very organised, management of stress, manage overtime during certain peak periods, capable of managing several project / clients at the same time  
  3. Relevant event management experience will advantageous 
  4. Awareness of event risk assessment and health and safety implications
  5. Proven track record in account/project management of events
  6. Experience in budget monitoring and management
  7. Proven track record of managing large scale projects in a service environment
