Job Description
The programe will involve a rotation in our retail centre to understand our customers first-hand, be involved in a series of innovative and interesting projects that provide exposure to cutting-edge technologies, while going through developmental programs to build both hard and soft skills for holistic development. They will then have the choice to rotate into other areas to experience different projects while practicing their software development skillsets. At the end of the program, they will progress into a full-fledged digital developer role in Maxis.

What is the role of a Digital Developer?
The Digital Developer will experience tasks and projects in areas of application design and development which will impact millions of customers. Please find more information on the Digital Developer role below:
- Develop applications based on software design derived from user requirements
- Perform impact assessment of user requirements to assess technical feasibility, and impacts to digital online platforms, jointly derive an acceptable solution together with stakeholders and architects.
- Craft detail design document (DDD) inclusive of data and interface design, in collaboration with application vendors (external) / and application owners (internal).
- Review high level solution design and detail design document with Solution Architects, and application owners.
- Perform peer review of technical design developed by application vendors / owners.
- Review test plans / test cases developed by testing teams or application vendors.
- Manage end-to-end application ownership & delivery with the respective application vendors.
- Manage and work with Infrastructure team for Application Deployment.
- Work with Operation support team for issues escalation.
- Manage vendors ensuring smooth project delivery and post production support related issues.

- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher the area of Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information / Other Engineering domains
- CGPA of 3.2 and above
- Have an advantage if you have experience in at least a programming language
