Job Description
Interior design manager oversea the design principle and construction efforts. They conduct and facilitate design review. In preparation for the fit-out phase, design managers review proposals and coordinate with field personnel. They also conduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications. Design managers review contractor performance for conformance to contract. They manage workflow, oversee the completion of activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Responsible for all aspects of design, space planning, budgeting and execution for interior design projects.
- Use in-depth knowledge of design principles, concepts, and best practices to create a project plan that includes detailed layouts, technical models and drawings, and estimates time, cost, materials and equipment.
- Closely monitor progress for all aspects of design, project and ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective implementation of the fit-out work.
- Coordinate all aspect of the interior design process and construction documentation.
- Regularly communicate with the client, providing regular status updates and handling any questions or changes.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Interior Design/Architecture or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeline.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel.
- Be able to handle and deliver project from schematic conceptual to tender.
