About The Job

We are looking for a Logistic/Supply Chain Associate. This role will be responsible for proactively processing orders in the ERP and in an efficient, error-free manner. You will be the front-line communicator with our supplier/warehouse base and are expected to build strong working relationships with them. Must be willing to work hard, learn quickly, dream big, and tackle challenges.

You will play an important role in :
  • Order, track, and report inventory and deliveries
  • Manage third-party warehouse inventory.
  • Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
  • Coordinate all shipments for all locations internationally.
  • Follow schedules of product distribution.
  • Work with carrier and third-party services.
  • Document invoices and payment postings.
  • Correspond with customers; report client requests.
  • Assist logistics coordinator, warehouse specialists, and other team members when needed to meet schedule.
  • Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met.
  • Track shipments details, locations, ETAs.
  • Communicate with carriers regarding service levels.
  • Update shipping system with rates, surcharges, and service standards.
  • Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
  • Update service-level reports and provide analysis on findings.
  • Inform management of ongoing performance issues.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as when required.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need to have/be:
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in shipping/logistic industry with experience in international import/export.
  • Excellent oral and written English. You are an effective communicator. Competency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus.
  • You’re naturally predisposed to being meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • You’re able to work well with people and love helping people get the job done.
  • You’re enthusiastic and optimistic, and nothing stands in the way that you can’t tackle with a smile.
  • You’re passionate about what we’re doing at Lumos and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
  • Competent with MS Office, Google Apps, Slack.
  • Passion for any existing activity with the cycling community is a huge plus.
