You are an experienced executive who has run marketing and sales teams in the past, preferably in a consumer hardware, outdoorware, sports, or fashion related startup/company. 

You bring rich skills and experience, and a growth mindset. You’re extremely motivated, a self-starter, independent, and looking for an opportunity to prove your abilities by helping a young company and brand with a lot of potential, and take it to the next level. 

 
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
  • Working with company founders to develop and refine the sales and marketing strategy in US & Europe market
  • Take ownership of sales targets 
  • Take ownership of the advertising budget 
  • Management of key distributor and retail accounts
  • Management of the sales and marketing team

Note: Given the early stage of the company that we are in, a high degree of adaptability is expected and required for this role. We are constantly learning new things and adapting our strategy and activities accordingly.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  1. You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  2. 6+ years of experience in marketing/sales at a consumer hardware, outdoorware, sports, or fashion related startup/company, or growth-hacking at a startup
  3. Excellent oral and written English. You are an effective communicator. 
  4. You’re naturally predisposed to being meticulous, detail-oriented, and organized.
  5. You’re able to work well with people and love helping people get the job done.
  6. You’re enthusiastic and optimistic, and nothing stands in the way that you can’t tackle with a smile.
  7. You’re passionate about what we’re doing at Lumos and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
  8. Competent with MS Office, Google Apps, Slack, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  9. Passion for and existing activity with the cycling community and/or experience being a bike commuter a huge plus.
