About The Job

  • Develop custom and responsive WordPress CMS websites and with good understanding of cross browser compatibility.
  • Handle frontend and backend web development.
  • Ready for the challenge and develop/enhance plugin feature according to customer needs.
  • Manage and maintain existing CMS websites/landing pages.
  • Experience and high ability in web development and database design.
  • Provide general programming assistance to other developers as and when needed.
  • Liaising with Client Account Executive to understand requirements and advice accordingly from the technical perspective.
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Provide guidance and contribute knowledge within/cross team.
  • Other related duties as assigned from time to time by superior

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience creating responsive WordPress sites from concept to completion.
  • Experience as a website developer with a digital agency or similar fields.
  • 1. Strong experience in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 as well as frameworks Bootstrap and jQuery.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress theme development. Able to work fluently with theme struction & function.php
  •  Able to perform plugins customization or functionality enhancement.
  • Experience in e-commerce site flow or woocommerce will be added advantages
  • Able to adapt and learn new things in a timely manner.
  • Experience converting visual designs into clean, commented and valid templates.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a keen understanding of UI, UX and bootstrap grid system.
  • Should be a clear communicator, a self-starter, an open collaborator, and deadline oriented.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Basic knowledge in photo editing by using Adobe Photoshop.
  • Protects the organization’s values by keeping information confidential.
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese dialect will be an added advantage.
