Job Description

• Maintain day-to-day financial function including of closure of monthly/quarterly/half yearly and FYE management accounts for all subsidiaries or related companies.
• Ensure that all cash flow are properly administered and monitored.
• Meeting all financial reports as and when requested.
• Liaise all matters pertaining to external auditors.
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations as well as liaise with tax agents and auditors.
• Checking and verifying all the financial statement and any reports pertaining to ensure the accuracy of the report including of bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and ensure all journal entries are completely, properly capture and updated.
• Monitoring Debtors Ledger, Creditors Ledger and General Ledger to ensure all properly capture.
• Review and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities.
• Checking and approve expenses claim (daily) in system and export text file to AP for weekly payment.
• To ensure all the fixed assets records are properly maintain and updated.
• Preparation and ensure the stock take carried out accordingly (year end and financial year end).
• Check and verify all reports pertaining to stock.
• Prepare any analysis report as and when required.
• Preparing monthly costing report.
• To prepare any adhoc report as and when needed by the management.
• Lead Finance and Accounting functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury.
• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position to identify areas for potential improvement.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations as well as liaise with tax agents and auditors.
• Oversees individual employee development and training and conducts performance appraisals. 

Job Requirements

• Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting
• At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in related field is required. Experienced in Audit and tax firm is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal skill, highly passionate, proactive and good team player
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Accounting software such as SQL will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Words, and Powerpoint
• Attention to details and good analytical skills and strong problem solving skills.
