About The Job

Reporting to Head of Lazada Seller Community & Communications, key tasks and responsibilities for this position are: 

  • Manage seller community and ensure a continued calendar of activities are planned to keep sellers engaged.
  • Provide timely and accurate completion of any projects requested by the Manager, including schedules, expense reporting, and performance summaries. 
  • Build and manage seller ambassador program with attractive incentives to drive ambassador commitment among communities.
  • Project manage monthly/weekly activities organized by Lazada and Lazada partners to drive engagement among existing and potential sellers 
  • Support in creating engagements in the online seller community groups & forums.
  • Manage & Create local seller communities in different states in Malaysia.
  • Working with training team to develop content that can grow the selling ability of our sellers.
  • Monitor pain points & feedback sellers are facing and report to Manager and relevant departments for them to take improvement actions.
  • Maintaining relationships with top sellers and get them to be more engaged, ultimately getting more selling tips and content to grow the greater seller community.
  • Take ownership to conduct focus groups to better understand seller needs and be able to effectively consolidate data & insights.
  • Evaluate appropriateness and feasibility of new or innovative strategies, based on data, insights, and business needs to expand and grow opportunities for seller community.

Job Requirements

  • Strong interest and passionate about business & developing people
  • Experience in training & development.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple work streams in parallel, plan for projects, manage own time and priorities.
  • Strong people and communication skills, e.g., actively involving local ventures counterparts, coordinating multiple stakeholders, reporting to large audiences or senior management.
  • Able to objectivity handle negative feedback from community members, consolidate and share it with relevant teams to solve the pain points.
  • Experience in offline event management.
  • Problem solving/ thought leadership and business sense, ability to be a thought partner to local ventures on areas of expertise; ability to structure strategic analyses.
  • Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator or photoshop is a plus.
  •  Analytical skills, Excel modelling skills.
  • Self-driven with ability to take on and create new assignments. 
  • Willing and eager to learn. Ability to work in a fast-moving environment in cross functional and cross-cultural teams. 
  • Knowledge of the e-commerce industry.
  • Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, media studies, business, Engineering, logistics and/or related fields.
