Job Description

  • Reviews and analyses the management accounts and financial statements as well as supervises the finance team.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Provides quick, comprehensive financial analysis and reports to support ad hoc business decisions. Assists in business analysis and research, be it for existing companies in the group or new target businesses.
  • Advises management about issues such as resource utilisation, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Assists in financial and business process audit on various businesses within the group of companies and recommends improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Professional Qualification in Accounting and minimum 5 years related experience, with at least 1 year in a management role.
  • Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy
  • Audit experience is required.
  • Knowledge in Malaysian tax is required.
  • Good command in Mandarin is an added advantage.
