Job Description

1. Develop & design Scandinavian style wooden furniture for HORECA industry from concept to production stage;
2. Create furniture design development and give direction from prototype to mass production;
3. Prepare 3D presentations and AutoCAD drawings as needed for actual production and assembly;
4. Tabulate approved drawings and specifications for each product;
5. Responsible for quality control from design stage until mass production;
6. Conduct market research & product development regularly for continuous growth;
7. Generate contemporary & aesthetic wooden furniture design with maximum cost effectiveness and cost efficiency; 
8. Collaborate with export sales and logistics personnel for packaging design and maximize the container loading capacity;
9. Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned and required by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design or equivalent;
2. Minimum 2 years working experience in wooden furniture design for HORECA industry (preferable export market);
3. Passion in wooden furniture design;
4. Strong technical skills in wooden furniture;
5. Good sense of European and Scandinavian furniture design particularly in wooden furniture design;
6. Good problem-solving skills and business acumen with entrepreneurship skills to ensure business success;
7. Responsible, resourceful, pay attention to details, dedicated and committed to work;
8. Creative, innovative, out-of-box thinker;
9. Able to work with minimum supervision.
