About The Job

  • Prepare sales plan to promote the company's products and close the sales;
  • Achieve the goals of sales revenue and profitability;
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve sales targets;
  • Source and develop new sales opportunities via cold calling; 
  • Travel to meet customers for discussion frequently;
  • Maintain good contact with all customers to ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction;
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations;
  • Develop and implement sales activities in market;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plan as needed;
  • Prepare quotations & sales orders;
  • Conduct market survey & price analysis;
  • Provide regular feedback to Management regarding latest market performance;
  • Provide weekly sales update and monthly sales performance report on time;
  • Ensure timely payment by customers;
  • Provide effective & convincing presentations to customers;
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Studies, International Business, Management, Advertising, Mass Communication or any discipline;
  • At least 1 year of proven sales track record & sales experience especially in dealing with F&B products in FMCG market such as CVS, Modern Trade and/or Traditional Trade;
  • SPM holders with experiences in dealing with sales & marketing of food & beverage products are encouraged to apply;
  • Experience in dealing with the buyers or purchasers of hypermarkets, supermarkets, retail-chain convenience stores, retail-chain pharmacy stores, petrol-marts etc. will be an added advantage;
  • Pleasant personality, proactive, dynamic, resourceful, creative, result-oriented and self-motivated;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Possess computer literacy; Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Strategic thinking;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, independent, persistent and ‘Never Give Up’ attitude;
  • Able to work under minimum supervision & under pressure;
  • Must possess own transport and willing to travel extensively and frequently;
  • Might be required to work additional hours occasionally, especially if there is any promotional event or trade exhibition during weekends;
