Job Description

1. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
2. Perform buying duties when necessary.
3. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
4. Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications. check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
5. Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogues and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
6. Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be Purchased
7. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
8. Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
9. Following and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures

Job Requirements

1. Exceptionally quick to pick up new things 
2. Detailed & dedicated
3. Flexible & keen to learn any procurement related task that may end up on your table
4. Good in Excel & with numbers. If you are really, really, really good in Excel or Google Sheets, that’s a big bonus.
5. A good communicator & negotiator (Bahasa and English is a must)
6. Ideally, have 2-4 years of experience in category management or purchasing in FMCG industry.
