Job Description

• Handle Unix/Linux issues and perform day-to-day support of the server environment independently
• Pro-active monitoring and capacity planning of server environment
• Perform daily system monitoring,verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, system and key processes, reviewing systems, application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
• Perform recovery of hardware or software failures
• Troubleshooting incidents
• Document problems, diagnostic, inter nations, next steps and solutions
• To ensure high levels of system availability, capacity, reliability, data integrity, security, performance are maintained.
• Any other tasks as required by management.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivelant
2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in administration & support on CentOS or Red Hat Linux OS environment.
3. Solid technical background with hands-on experience in Infrastructure setup, network, performance , security, web & backup technologies
4. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
5. Must posses own transport
6. Willing to travel if needed
7. Able to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures, grasp technical concepts
8. Able to manage competing demands, multiple priorities while remaining adaptable and flexible
9. Excellent logical analysis and problem solving skills
10. Willing to be on standby during after working hours, public holidays and weekend.
11. Required skills and experience: Centos, Apache, BASH Script, Mysql, PostGres, Tomcat, Java
12. High Availabilility, Clustering and Replication knowledge
