Job Description
We are looking for Mobile Apps developer iOS or Android responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of mobile devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be on the development of mobile applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and build applications for the iOS / Android platform.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Participate in projects.
- Supporting existing applications.
Job Requirements
- Proficient with mobile development languages using XCode (Swift or Objective-C) or Android Studio (Java or Kotlin).
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. (Android).
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. (iOS).
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS / Android applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks (Android).
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or Svn.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Experience working with 3rd party libraries and APIs.
- Strong on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Degree in Computer Science or any similar subject.
- Minimal 2-year working experience in iOS / Android development.
- Knowledge and experience in React Native is an added advantage.
- Strictly Malaysian only.
