Job Description

• To be responsible for sales and service related work and maintaining high level of customer satisfaction through providing post-sales technical/functional support to customers.
• To liaise with clients from all levels on a regular basis - prospecting and closing sales.
• To grow revenue by developing new business, ensure new business targets are achieved and to generate leads and appointments.
• To work with regional sales engineers in pursuit of major project sales.
• To assist in the preparation of annual sales projections.
• To formulate & implement relevant marketing strategies so that our products - Myron L and Chemetrics, and services are always competitive in the market place. 
• To provide after sales service including installation, troubleshooting and 
• To provide technical consultancy and support to customers. 
• To conduct basic user functionality training on the equipment at customer’s site as and when necessary. 
• To respond to customers’ requests by troubleshooting problems and take corrective actions within targeted timeline. 
• To constantly develop and upgrade technical skills in order to provide quality service. 
• To develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers. 
• To prepare service reports. 
• To perform any other work as and when required. 

Job Requirements

• Possess Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Material Engineering or any related discipline. 
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin. 
• Competent in installation, commissioning, functioning, upkeep, and maintenance of scientific equipment / instruments. 
• Familiar with Myron L and Chemetrics instrument will be an added advantage.
• Competent in identifying, troubleshooting and other technical support to the scientific equipment / instruments at clients’ site. 
• Experience in sharing and improving the servicing and/or technical skills within team members.
• Dynamic, aggressive, self-starter, service oriented and result driven.
• Must be functionally and operationally competent in performing the sales and service / maintenance duties.
• Possess own transport and must be able to travel extensively.
• Must be able to work under tight deadlines and extended hours, as and when required.
