Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible to handle in-bound sales calls and website enquiries. 
  • To ensure all enquiries are attended to in a timely manner and sales SOP's are adhered to.
  • Candidate is required to constantly keep in touch with their existing client and new clients in order to build relationship and brand loyalty.
  • Candidate is required to travel to show clients different venues that are listed and featured in the instaSpace platform.
  • Candidate is required to prepare event costing, quotation and invoice. All costing and quote is to be presented to the management for approval.
  • To achieve individual sales target and to work closely with the team to achieve company sales target.
  • To manage and coordinate with relevant suppliers and vendors that will be supplying for the event such as caterers, AV team, deco team and more.
  • To undertake any adhoc task or assignment that is assigned by the management from time to time.
  • To analyse data from inbound and outbound sales activities and prepare relevant reports of sales trend and forecast.
  • To maintain and build relationship with all of the platform's venues partners and vendors.
  • Expand the business beyond event management and add-on services.
  • Regular visits & relationship building events with key clients in Malaysia
  • Project planning, implementation and evaluation with client, management and external vendors/suppliers.
  • Capitalise on existing database and all forms of internal customer data, to perform analysis, generate actionable insights and design activities.
  • Work with internal cross functional teams and 3rd party agencies, to ensure high levels of internal understanding & involvement and on time delivery of projects
  • Set & assess KPIs on all forms of implementations & create performance reports to ensure our events and each deals are within key performance metrics and budget.
  • Constantly on the look out for new business opportunity via networking, cold calling, relationship building with existing clients to help create new revenues streams for the company.
  • To liaise with client to understand their event objective and needs, thereafter prepare event proposals for them.
  • For event bookings which job scope includes event management, candidate is required to be present at the event venue to manage events from set up, actual event and post event tear down.

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Sales, Event Management, Event Operations, Customer Service, Project Management.
  • Preferably Junior/Senior Executive specialised in Marketing/Business Development, Event Management, Event Sales or equivalent.
  • Candidate is required to have past experience working in a dynamic and face paced environment.
  • Familiar with development & execution of events such as annual dinners, product launches, conferences, corporate events, training, team building events and more.
  • Candidate to posses excellent command of English,  both spoken and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convert findings delivered thru analysis into actionable insights
  • Candidate is required to posses their own transport to travel and meet clients and partners.
  • Candidate may be required to work on weekends, after office hours and public holidays.
