Job Description
- Install, configure and maintain Linux, Windows, Storage, SAN and virtual environments.
- Install, configure and maintain Firewall (Fortigate), WiFi solution and switches.
- Assist in solution designing internally and for clients.
- Develop, document and implement system standards based on best practices.
- Maintain and monitor the servers and network infrastructure to achieve optimum level of performance.
Job Requirements
- Assist and recommend design solutions that meet client business requirements/issues.
- Inform account managers or operation manager products/services that improve current services.
- Analyze products as well as upgrade as needed for appropriateness.
- Supervise and implement entire system upgrade strategies.
- Recommend feasible solutions to maximize performance for all systems and networks.
- Develop UNIX and Windows administration test plans and perform testing.
- Direct liaison and communication with clients.
- Manage all systems, on client’s premise, Data Centers and in the Cloud.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with technologies like Xenserver, Hyper-V, Vmware.
- Familiar with Active Directory Domain Services
- Experience with Website, DNS and Email Hosting is advantageous.
- Familiar with Email technologies and solutions, such as Exchange, Exim, Smartermail.
- Knowledgeable of DKIM, SPF, Anti-Spam, Anti-spoofing setup and solutions.
- Has a database management background in MSSQL and MYSQL will have advantages. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure for implementing, configuring and managing servers in various regions.
- Bash scripting, Javascript and PHP knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience in deploying and problem solving Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Experience with Backup solutions similar to StorageCraft, Cobian backup, Datto Backup and JetBackup.
- Experience with WiFi Technology like Cisco, Ubiquiti and Ruckus.
- Experience with NAS and SAN technologies like Synology, Dell Storage.
