About The Job

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns 
  • Oversee a social media strategy 
  • Manage and maintain the organisation’s website(s) 
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. 
  • Creating and executing E-mail based marketing campaigns 
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports 
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time, generating leads and leads conversion, marketing communication and building brand image 
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s) 
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content 
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites 
  • Arrange webinars and webcasts 
  • Create online banner adverts 
  • Write copy for email marketing campaigns 
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies 
  • Using and researching the internet and new media to reach new customers, generate leads and retain existing customers 
  • Work on printed material to supplement online products 
  • Attend networking events 

Job Requirements

  • Editing and writing skills: You need to devise and edit content for various digital platforms. Writing blog posts may well be an integral part of the job 
  • Speaking skills 
  • Video editing skills would be an added advantage 
  • Graphic design skills can be helpful. 
  • Web development skills: A digital marketing executive is not a software developer, but you will need sound knowledge of WordPress or any other platforms, strong knowledge of search engine optimization. Advanced Word and Powerpoint skills would be an advantage 
  • Understand and able to use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEO, PPC, Google AdWords, Content Management Systems, etc. 
  • Project management skills: Digital marketing executives also need to be good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines 
  • Should be highly up-to-date with advances in web technology 
  • Must know all about social networking and viral marketing campaigns 
  • Must be able to think creatively about innovative approaches to marketing. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising and/or marketing (or a professional marketing qualification) 
  • Self-Motivated, 
  • Goal-Oriented 
  • Attention to Detail 
  • 1 – 4 years experience in digital communications and marketing
