Job Description
- Code, test and deploy sophisticated web applications using WordPress.
- Enhance and maintain existing web applications.
- Gain exposure to the service architecture and work across the whole stack.
- Customise and introduce additional features into the WordPress site.
- Troubleshoot errors emerging from existing websites.
- Ensure the site is mobile-friendly and fully responsive.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in PHP development, with experience in developing web applications with WordPress.
- Knowledgeable in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap and CSS3.
- Possess experience with WordPress plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields, Contact Form 7, and WooCommerce.
- Possess knowledge of good coding standards (to prevent security breaches) will be an added advantage.
- Highly motivated to excel and pick up emerging technologies.
- Possess a good command of English, as well as analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well under pressure and accepts criticism positively.
- Possess a pleasant disposition, and possess a positive work attitude with good interpersonal skills.
- Possess good debugging skills: able to troubleshoot and modify premade plugins.
- Knowledgeable about SEO and SEM best practices.
