Job Description

  • Identify and analyse customer’s applications & system/storage infrastructure requirements and architecture
  • Solution Design proposal preparation for bids
  • Preparation of Scope of Work (SoW) for technical proposal which includes proposed architecture and sizing
  • Configure Build of Materials (BOM) for run-rates and tenders
  • Perform project assessment, consultative services when meeting with prospects
  • Provide technical consultancy and enablement to customers
  • Perform Proof of Concepts (POC) using latest technology available
  • Liaise with vendors, System Integrators and end users when prospecting for business opportunities
  • Liaise with internal Product Managers & Business Managers to design marketing programmes


Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferably minimum of 5 years experience in pre-sales or post-sales in consulting, implementing or supporting projects
  • Possess a current Vmware VCP certification around VSpehere, Vcenter, VSAN, VRealize, Horizon, Workspace One and NSX
  • Possess good knowledge and experience on one or more of the following technologies:
  • Operating Systems - MS Windows Server, Redhat Linux
  • Strong Virtualization technology background, Vmware, Microsoft HyperVisor, Citrix
  • Storage Backup Software & Hardware solutions particularly around HPE/LENOVO/DELL EMC
  • Server solutions (Rack, Blade Technology , Cloud ..etc)
  • Receptive to working independently and support the business growth
  • Accountable to assisting the business managers in meeting monthly and quarterly sales quota
  • A keen, positive attitude individual as well as effective team player
  • Fast learner
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Heavy travelling is required
