Job Description

• Gather and organise requirements and information from customers. 
• Conduct in-depth functional evaluations of customer requirements and business objectives, and present plans on customised software solutions. 
• Develop detailed project plans, requirements specifications, and product development schedules. 
• Engage in pre-sales activities such as conducting demos and presentations to pitch products as well as ideas to prospects and existing customers. 
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, project owners, and internal peers (UI/UX and fellow software engineer) to design, plan, and manage solutions delivery. 
• Serve as a liaison between the company, customer, and several third parties. 
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. 
• Manage accounts and achieve expected business results on a weekly and monthly basis.  
• Provide second level support, as needed, to maintain production applications. 
• Assist in user training or writing of instruction manuals. 
• Work closely with the Head of Department to assist in the implementation of business strategy, policies and operational processes. 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices by attending relevant courses, expanding personal networks and reading widely.

Job Requirements

• A relevant degree qualification (Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering) is preferred.
• You have 3-4 years of experience in SDLC, preferably in open-source programming.
• You are an effective communicator who can work with both tech-savvy and creative parties, with ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements. 
• You are adept at managing projects, tasks and time. Moving between different projects, clients and teams comes naturally to you.
