Job Description

• Undertake research on impact management for all kinds of global, international and local actions regarding assessing / managing impact for changemakers.
• Creating an impact management framework data bank for Impact Malaysia that is most relevant to the type of changemaking efforts by youths available in the nation.
• Sharing the content available on the data bank to colleagues in Impact Malaysia and the organizations’ partners.
• Contribute towards ever-improving and production of Impact Malaysia’s own impact framework through own evidence-backed research.
• Creating easy-to-adopt templates for youth changemakers in Malaysia to advocate for impact culturalization on their own actions.
• Undertake research on impact reporting survey by identifying the best practices of impact reporting from various stakeholders in Malaysia.
• Organizing best practices information in a way that enables youth changemakers in Malaysia to adopt it in their own projects.

• Undertake the baseline research of all agreed projects / programmes by Impact Malaysia pre-project execution.
• Organize Baseline Research information to partnering organizations and colleagues to ensure all parties have ample consideration of risk and mitigation strategies when undertaking the relevant project / programme.
• Create baseline research templates, process and procedures to share with youth movers in future resource sharing endeavors.
• Monitor and encourage youth movers in future resource-sharing endeavors undertake proper baseline research before executing projects.
• Report the success rate or impact of our own baseline research resource sharing with youth movers to the organization.

• Advocate for Impact Malaysia’s position in the Government of Malaysia’s monitoring and evaluation efforts.
• Ensuring the culturalization of sustainability and impact-driven efforts by all stakeholders when representing the organization in external and internal events.
• Deliver Impact Malaysia’s position using evidence-based advocacy on project outcomes and objectives driven by ministries.
• Encourage Impact Reporting and Culturalization by all Impact Integrated business unit by sharing impact reporting templates and resources to all business units.

Job Requirements

• Experience in statistical analysis preferred.
• Meticulous, a team worker, able to assign tasks and be strategic in achieving goals.
• Comfortable in conducting methods to collect data, such as interviews, focus group discussions, surveys, observation etc.
• Competency in any statistical analysis software/ tools i.e Microsoft Excel, Stata, MATLAB, SPSS, MaxStat, etc., is a plus.
• Knowledge in Python, R and SAS languages for data analysis is a plus.
• Competency in data visualization and the usage of data visualization software, i.e Tableau, Highcharts etc., is a plus.
• Comfortable and apt in writing reports.
