Job Description

• Planning, coordinating and implementing all public relations events and efforts, including launch ceremonies, opening ceremonies, press conferences to ensure maximum media coverage and exposure.
• Communicate to wide range of stakeholders, articulately and eloquently in English and Bahasa Malaysia and must be able to speak to the media.
• Build media and influencer contact database for organisation.
• Assist in the development and execution of influencer campaigns, including mapping, acquiring contact details, communicating and securing influencers.
• Write press release, PR briefs, press kits and all copywriting needed for maximising coverage for public.
• Perform PR research and analysis, producing detailed reports to team.
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic media relations and communication plans.
• Identify media trend from time to time and track related articles and write ups in various online channels.
• Cultivate and maintain media relations, coordinate media inquiries and proactively identify and secure editorial and interview opportunities.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field.
2. Minimum 2 – 5 years working experience as a journalist, Public Relation Officer, Communications Officer or similar role will have added advantage.
3. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English.
4. Strong Interpersonal skills.
5. Good organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
6. Good relationship with influencers and media would be preferable.
