Job Description

The Client is a well established company and one of the world's top commercial air-conditioning manufacturers. They have manufacturing facilities and marketing offices in Malaysia, USA, China, UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America. Our Principle activities are in the manufacturing, trading, servicing of Industrial and Commercial Air-conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration equipment.

Job Summary

Software engineering position to apply principles and techniques of object oriented software engineering to design, develop and test software systems. Works with other technical staff and customers to develop corporate applications and keep them running smoothly. This includes designing and implementing new programs and integrating these programs with existing applications. Advanced competency in object- oriented development language, such as Java is required. 

The knowledge of HVAC product and system will be a definite add on advantage. 

Your responsibilities

  • Good understanding in object oriented programming.
  • Strong skills in multi threading programming. 
  • Strong skills with XML and SOAP programming.
  • Good understanding in Java/J2SE/J2EE client and server programming. 
  • Experience to work with Apache, tomcat server for web programming
  • Experience in web application by using JavaScript, PHP, JSP, ASP and etc.
  • Experience in using Jasper report, software development and testing life cycle. 
  • Proficient SQL skills with relational databases. 
  • Experience in using version control server such as CVS, Subversion, and GIT. 
  • Strong coding, analysis and testing skills. 
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management

  • Excellent integrity and ethical standards 
  • Very proactive, innovative, team-player, analytical minded with strong business acumen 
  • Excellent technical and knowledge in software development 
  • Good personality and interpersonal skill 
  • Able to work longer hours when required 
  • Basic Computer skills including MS Office, Power Points, etc 
  • Degree in related field, preferably in Computer Science 
  • At least 3 year working experience related in software development field
