Job Description

• Perform vision tests and analyse results.
• Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma, diabetes and others diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and medications.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery—for example, examining a patient’s eyes the day after surgery.
• Promote eye health by counselling patients.
• Provide post-op analysis

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in BSc Optometry recognized by Malaysian government and registered under Malaysian Optical Council with CGPA 3.0 & above.
• Excellent in decision making to evaluate various diagnostic tests results and propose the best course of treatment for patients.
• Critical thinking to ensure that patients receive appropriate treatment and management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong character and good leadership skills to lead clinical team.
• Remain committed to excel despite challenges.
• Responsible and could work well under less supervision.
• A good team player who able to collaborate with all colleagues in this organization
