About The Job

Job Description:

  • To manage the end to end process from sourcing to distribution. 
  • To purchase and consolidate all products for the Company, which includes but not limited to purchases of food ingredients, packaging, equipment, furniture, capex, opex, new outlet opening items, brand touch point, service contracts, pest control, office stationeries, marketing & printing and others.
  • To lead, to source and to negotiate contracts to ensure the best price possible
  • To source, negotiate and lead on logistics and cleaning services with contractors for all outlets to ensure full compliance of JAKIM & MOH guidelines.
  • To initiate cost saving project to improve company profitability & efficiency
  • To forecast and manage cost to ensure spending is within the company budget
  • To establish Procurement SOP & Price Master List 
  • To keep track on department’s other income i.e. cost saving & rebate
  • To support and ensure Procurement is made in accordance with Procurement SOP and Policy, Product Specification / International specification and Brand intrinsic
  • To ensure compliance to product quality and ordering lead time to achieve Financial performance indicator and cash flow planning
  • To strategize and improve on Procurement, Vendor and Contract Management processes and to complement the overall company’s process enhancement
  • To collate relevant data or information from all restaurant and other resources to perform data analysis to improve performance of the company
  • To benchmark company’s business processes and industry companies (competitor benchmark) or anywhere in the world (global benchmarking)
  • To manage, monitor and achieve Individual and Company KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
  • To develop and work on Projects that is assigned by the company from time to time

A few more things, to keep things on track

  • To have regular meeting/quarterly review with top suppliers to improve on the business opportunity and trading term
  • To establish and maintain great relationships with suppliers in order to get better support
  • To provide regular analysis on each product category of all relevant department for cost improvement
  • To roll out a clearly defined administrative and operating system for the Food Division & Non-Food Division
  • To establish and ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place to meet business needs whilst adhering to recognized best practices and complying to code of conduct and legal requirement

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • An OPEN mind and a YOUNG heart
  • At least 2-5 Year(s) of working experience in Procurement
  • Excellent communication skills required, preferably in both English and Malay.
  • Must have a strong written, presentation and verbal skills with good attention to detail.
  • Have a results oriented mindset, supported by strong analytical, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Preferably one who is specialised in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Industry or equivalent, with an excellent understanding of food & beverage services within the region.
  • Resourceful and strong in analysis & execution.
