Job Description

• To aid in developing new products, starting from idea creation to prototype development, trial run, sampling preparation, and food styling presentation
• To help create and maintain proper R&D system, data analysis and storage, and documentation
• To assist in the preparation of any internal or external food tasting sessions on new prototypes or samples
• To leverage prior knowledge and skill to assist in driving the product development process to commercialization
• To effectively and accurately cost out products to ensure new products are commercially viable
• To identify any up-and-coming culinary or consumer trends to develop new and innovative products that will satisfy our customer needs for our respective brands

• To continually source for any new potential ingredient and packaging that would improve on the quality of the products 
• To update the specifications of any newly sourced items on the relevant platforms
• To source any equipment or tools that will improve the current workflow or operational efficiency
• To support other departments with ordering and managing any new ingredient implementation whenever needed for our respective outlets

Job Requirements

• An OPEN mind and a YOUNG heart
• Major in Science/Food Science/Culinary/Culinology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
• Analytical and strong attention to detail and proper laboratory practices
• Team player, self-motivated and can also work independently
• A multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team and a can-do and follow through attitude
• Demonstrate flexibility - ability to readily change from project to project depending on priorities; willing to work on assignment of varying difficulty
